Supporting nonprofit organizations committed to improving the quality of life in the Texas Panhandle by addressing critical community needs.

Current Status:

What We Fund

The Mary E. Bivins Foundation is committed to amplifying the efforts of community organizations dedicated to improving the lives of residents across the Texas Panhandle.

Applications will be accepted for projects addressing the following prioritization categories. Preference will be given to requests that further the Foundation’s primary philanthropic objective to enrich the quality of life for older adults in the region.

Basic Human Needs

  • Access to affordable housing, food, and healthcare.

Human Services

  • Social services to older adults and vulnerable populations.

Education

  • Educational programs for older adults, early childhood education, literacy, parenting education, and career readiness.

Youth Development

  • Programs and efforts which prepare young people to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood
