Investing in Communities
Focused on Older Adults

A Legacy of Service

The Mary E. Bivins Foundation supports nonprofit organizations and public entities working to improve quality of life across the Texas Panhandle with an enduring commitment to older adults.

Through strategic grantmaking and direct initiatives, the Foundation continues the work Mary Elizabeth Bivins began ensuring that everyone is valued, supported, and able to age with dignity.

Grant

Opportunities

Grants to nonprofit organizations and public entities working to address community needs, with priority given to initiatives that support older adults and the systems that serve them.

Senior Hunger

Solutions

Access to nutritious food is foundational to healthy aging. Through Senior Hunger Solutions, we support programs that address food insecurity, promote overall health, independence, and social connection.

Bivins Scholars

Program

The Bivins Scholars Program supports individuals from the Texas Panhandle pursuing theological education for Christian ministry, investing in leadership that serves communities across the region.

Bivins

Village

Bivins Village is a signature expression of the Foundation’s commitment to aging with dignity. The community provides affordable housing and supportive services designed to help older adults thrive.

Strengthening Communities

On the 75th Anniversary of the Mary E. Bivins Foundation, individuals and organizations came together to reflect on the impact of the Grants and Scholarship Programs which have helped to strengthen communities, support Christian ministry, and empower older adults across the Texas Panhandle.

Take a look at how the Mary E. Bivins Foundation supported older adults and strengthened communities across the Texas Panhandle in 2025, through grantmaking, scholarships, Senior Hunger Solutions, and life at Bivins Village.
